Born Gaël Keutchogue, Keutch is a visual artist and a student in Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Yaoundé I. He took his first steps into the art scene in 2017 by participating in the Jeunes Espoirs competition, organized by Espace doual’art, under the theme "The Place of the Human". Since then, his work has been showcased in several group exhibitions and major artistic events. In 2021, he participated in "Éclosion", an exhibition at the Institut Français du Cameroun – Douala branch, highlighting emerging young artists. In 2022, he joined the "Résidence Percées" program, initiated by the association Les palettes du Kamer, where he explored new forms of artistic expression through painting and installation. That same year, he exhibited at the "Yaf’Art" festival, a key event in the contemporary art scene in Cameroon. Through his work, Keutch explores social dynamics and the relationship between humans and their environment, blending traditional techniques with contemporary approaches. His art continues to evolve, reflecting his commitment to an artistic expression deeply rooted in African realities.
