Clement Mmaduako Nwafor (born.1981) is an award-winning contemporary Nigerian Artist who lives and work in Abuja, Nigeria. He was an apprentice of master Philip Nzekwe who guided and trained his eyes in sculpture and later trained painting under a renowned Nigerian Artist Oswald Uruakpa. Clement has shown his mastery in painting and sculpture. His paintings are usually done with oil on canvas and collage often using pieces of fabrics, resulting in stunning mixed media artworks. Colourful and intricate gele, Nigeria head wraps, features heavily in his work. In 2014, he won first (1st) prize award in National Visual Art Competition organised by National Gallery of Art, Nigeria. In the same year he came one of the top 24th Artist, In a National Competition, Organised by Life In My City Art Festival (LIMCAF) 2014.
