NATHALIE DJAOKOU (b. 1975) is a Cameroonian artist based in Lagos. She is a ceramist who studied arts between 1992 and 1998. She directed the Yoko church mosaics and the shrine of the Yaoundé capital. Not only that, but she served as the manager of the ceramics workshop of The Art Center in Mbalmayo for 9 years. Furthermore, she has participated in exhibitions with other female artists at the national Museum for the CEMAC summit (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) in 2008, the symposium art iron with the German artist ODO RUMPF to HERBERT FRIEDRICH foundation in Yaoundé, Cameroon in 2005, in the contest of Blackbird Suisse in 2011 and In 2012, at the African creativity in international exhibition of handicrafts of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso (SIAO) where she won the first prize. Likewise, she got the award for The special prize young talent in 1995.
