Originally from Cameroon, Martin Abega is a contemporary photographic artist living in Northern France. Born in Cameroon, a country nicknamed Africa in miniature, Martin's inspiration knows no boundaries. He draws his inspiration from everything to create, but at the heart of it all is his love and passion for ebony skin and the cultural stories behind it. A dream that he now realizes through his creations, which explore little-known stories such as the history of scarification in Africa or that of black skins. Martin Abega's art resonates like an ode to his native land, his roots.
