MUSÉE D'ART LOCAL DE MAROUA

Located in the capital of the Far North, in the Diamaré department, Maroua's local art museum was created during the colonial period in 1955. It is a public museum under the authority of the Far North Regional Delegate for Arts and Culture. Today, the museum is a center for the conservation and exhibition of the city's and the region's heritage, as well as a marketing outlet for Maroua's art objects.
