Mbote Emmanuel Nasako (M.E. Nas Arts) is a Cameroonian Hailing from Ndi and ivision, South West Region, Cameroon. Born in Yaoundé on the 28th November 1993. The second of four sons to father, Peter Boniako Nasako and mother, Mongo Florence Nasako. Currently based in Limbe. He's a contemporary artist and portrait painter. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Buea, 2014 and a Diploma in computerized accounting, ABCIT 2015. He started the arts from his first days of school and received training by "Le Crayon De Djino" organized by "Brasseries du Cameroun" for the first three years of it's existence from 2004 to 2007. At the beginning of His secondary studies and later moved to a boarding school where he couldn't continue. Professionally, he started in 2011 with his first mini-exhibition in his neighborhood at the University, after which he exhibited several times in events such as SIARC, FESTAC, SOUTH WEST festival of Arts and culture, joint exhibition with co-artists,Art chronicles, Presidential visit to the Southwest, Next generation exhibition by Doual'art 2022. His Major break through into the mainstream was his emergence as 2nd at the young hopes contest by Doual'art 2021. Mentored at different levels of his career by different artists such as Carlos Djomo, Max Lyonga Sako, among many others. Participated in residence programs, notably at MAM foundation, facilitated by Mr Simon Njami. Organized by the world bank 2022. His work revolves around a number of subjects as per time. Eg. Toghu, 2021 and currently working questioning popular thinking and awakening us to the beautiful realities we atimes underlook to feel relevant in the ever growing digital world. Award holder including -1st position in fine arts (representing the UNIVERSITY OF BUEA) in the 2013 Cameroonian student competition -1st position (UNDER THE "BEFIN HAND" TEAM) at the 2016 South-West Regional Craft Competition -2nd place.
