Stevie Jaëlle Douanla is a Cameroonian painter and stylist born in 1999 in Bamougong in the West region of Cameroon. In 2019 she obtained a senior technician certificate in Fashion Design, before developing an interest for drawing and painting. Stevie Jaelle also holds a CAPIET (teaching diploma) obtained in 2022 . In 2021, she participated in several competitions including the D'jino art competition organized by the Brasseries of Cameroon where she was among the 06 national finalists, and the "art power exhibition" competition organized by the Art Power association. She was discovered in 2022 by Chanceline Label LEKEUKA, member of the Dieuzyl arts company, communicator and administrator of the FIR, during the training of 100 project leaders supporting cultural entrepreneurship launched by the Route des Chefferies program , visual artist Stevie Jaëlle Douanla is invited to participate in the first edition of the International Reconnection Festival. In 2023, she participates in the creative residency under the major theme "the place of women in customs and customs" and the paintings resulting from this work are exhibited in edition 2 of the FIR in October 2023. In 2023, she participated in the exhibition “Conversations” alongside artists Max Mbakop, Darius Dada and Valery Manoir as part of the Pie-Claude Ngumu International Festival in Yaoundé Nkol Obom from July 25 to 30, 20023 and is an ambassador of the Festival International Reconnection held from October 19 to 22, 2023.
