Musa Ganiyy (b. 1993) is a visual Artist and a photographer based in Lagos, Nigeria. Ganiyy's works are best described as visual documentation of the human interaction with their environment and how people relate to socio- political changes that arrests economic growth in their geographical area. Ganiyy has chosen to explore different themes ranging from minimalist compositions to compelling portraits, colourful landscapes and conceptual abstracts, highlighting through these abstract drawings the nostalgicrefections of body movement and noticeable actions of his subjects. African traditional motifs and patterns are key infuences to the visual expressions of the artist.
