Aboli Kann, whose real name is Koffi N'Guessan Nestor, is one of the most talented and respected figurative painters from Ivory Coast. He was born on December 10, 1964, in Bondoukou, Ivory Coast, and describes himself as a 'Griotician Painter. He lives and works in Abidjan. Aboli Kann started with naive painting in the workshop of Kouakou Camille in Grand-Bassam. Between 1989 and 2003, he explored various techniques and styles and completed several courses, culminating in classical painting at the workshop of the Frenchman Christian Debenest in Abidjan.
