Opened in 2012, the Galerie Conil, which can be discovered around a bend in an alleyway in Tangier's old medina, not far from the Petit Socco, looks like a cabinet of curiosities. The artists on show - painters and sculptors alike - hail from both shores of the Mediterranean, and all share a common trait: the expression of a culture and individuality in search of links and exchanges. The art presented in 3 different locations in the medina is often dazzling, yet rooted in history, full of imagination and warmth, just like Intha and Olivier Conil, who are always ready to transport you into their world.
