Located in the heart of Souissi, Rabat's residential district near the embassies and the Jacques Chirac school group, the abla ababou contemporary art space opened its doors on April 28, 2017 at 7pm with monumental works by Mahi Binebine and the signing of his latest novel "le fou du roi". More than a contemporary art gallery, Abla Ababou is first and foremost a unifying venue open to all forms of artistic creation. With its uncluttered architecture built to international standards, museum-quality lighting and over five-metre-high ceilings, the nearly 200 m2 space lends itself to all kinds of cultural events. Another space within the space, with a concept store feel, will be dedicated solely to objets d'art in all their forms.
