Presentation

This structure dedicated to contemporary creation hosts exhibitions, artist residencies and cultural events. The Donwahi Foundation is made up of three villas whose clean, minimalist lines evoke the avant-garde aesthetics of the 70s. An architectural ensemble nestled in a vast green setting, worthy of a David Hockney painting. The foundation was created in 2008 as a tribute to Charles Bauza Donwahi (1926-1997), a former minister under Félix Houphouët-Boigny, and an enlightened patron and promoter of the arts and culture, which he saw as vehicles for sharing and tolerance.
