Biography

Gallerie Saõk is a modern and contemporary art gallery located in Accra, Ghana. Founded by Kofi Awuku-Sao, the gallery aspires to establish a pan-African presence by expanding into every country on the continent. Situated at GD-191, 8208 Nii Army Okle St, in the Adjiringanor neighborhood of Accra, Gallerie Saõk is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The gallery showcases a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, photography, drawings, sculptures, mixed-media works, and prints. It also offers art advisory services. In December 2024, Gallerie Saõk announced its inaugural exhibition, "Sights of Freedom", a unique showcase celebrating unity, resilience, and the shared vision of a future for Africa and its diaspora. Committed to promoting contemporary African art, Gallerie Saõk provides a platform for emerging artists across the continent.
