The National Museum of Botswana, also known as the National Museum and Art Gallery (Tswana: Mabolokelo a ditso a lefatshe la Botswana, English: Botswana National Museum) is a museum located in the center of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. It is a multi-disciplinary institution that brings together the National Art Gallery, the National Library, the Octagonal Gallery and the Botanical Garden. The Botswana National Museum is also involved in the preservation of Tsodilo, Botswana's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. It also manages Tsholofelo Park, which now houses the tomb of the "Negro of Banyoles", El Negro - in fact, a black man stuffed in the mid-19th century, whose remains have been returned by the Darder Museum in Banyoles (Catalonia).
